John Cena went heel and sided with The Rock, genuinely surrendering his soul to The Final Boss, in the most surprising way possible to cap off the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.  This spectacular heel turn has now earned Cena a new Guinness World Record.

A noteworthy accomplishment has further acknowledged John Cena's influence on WWE, according to the Guinness World Records website.  His tenure as the company's most popular babyface was so long that he now owns the record for the longest WWE face run before turning heel. The former Cenation leader was a babyface from 2004 to March 1, 2025. Even though John Cena turned heel no one predicted this.

At WrestleMania 41, John Cena will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship after winning the Elimination Chamber match, but many fans aren't scared to call him out for being a hypocrite.  The American Nightmare entered the ring to face Cena after he secured his opportunity at Cody's belt at WrestleMania 41 and survived the vicious chamber match.

As the "Longest WWE Face Run Before Turning Heel," Cena has set a new Guinness World Record for his historic heel shift.  He currently holds the title of granting the most wishes with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and this latest accomplishment adds to that record.  Cena was regarded by GWR as one of the finest in WWE history as well.  As a result of the victory, Cena will now face Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the 41st WrestleMania PLE.

His goal is to beat Ric Flair and become the 17-time WWE World Champion before he hangs up his boots. It is planned that the 41st WrestleMania will be held over two nights on April 19 and 20, 2025.  The enormous gathering will happen at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, in the United States.
