After leaving WWE in 2014 due to controversial reasons CM Punk has made an comeback which nobody expected. He returned back in action in November 2023. As of now CM Punk is currently having a rivalry with Drew McIntyre. In a recent interaction CM Punk share his thoughts ahead of SummerSlam 2024.
Last time when CM Punk featured in WWE was in Royal Rumble 2024. Since then the match hasn’t been a single contest. He has also had a fight against Dominik Mysterio at a house show. While in Royal Rumble match, he got injuring and since then he has not made a comeback in-ring. During an recent interview with ESPN’s First take he stated that he is ready and his physical and mental state of the mind is getting ready for the upcoming SumeerSlam 2024 which is going to take place on 3rd August.

In SummerSlam 2024 he will face Drew Mclntyre and Seth Rollins will be making special appearance as referee for the match. According to CM Punk Seth Rollins being as a referee is not fair but he is not be worried about the result for the match. He is only focusing on the clash Drew McIntyre. This match is getting build up from last six months. In WrestleMania 40 Seth Rollins lost its World Championship against Drew McIntyre and will be looking to take a revenge of it.

Since then, there are many words has been exchanging between Drew Mclntyre and CM Punk of them. This match will be one of the best matches taking place in SummerSlam 2024. As per Pink Villa, He stated: “Mentally, strong. Physically, 100%, or at least as 100% as I get at my current stage of my career. I feel good. I’m anxious, and I’m ready to lace up my boots.”
He also expressed that SummerSlam will be the first tv match which will be taking place in an decade in WWE.
