Karrion Kross took a shot at the WWE Management and Triple H indirectly after being snubbed from WrestleMania 41. After his and Scarlett Bordeaux's WWE release, Kross claimed that Triple H was unhappy with the viral segment. The former Final Testament star said it was hard for him to explain to Hunter that it was work.

Kross featured in WrestleMania XL, but failed to make it to the match card the following year. In the Post-Match show, where Sam Roberts and Jackie Redmond were the hosts, Karrion took an unexpected shot at the WWE management and indirectly targeted Triple H. He asked the reason behind his exclusion from WrestleMania XL.

Kross claimed WWE was concerned about the viral moments and included Logan Paul for the same reason. He noted an old advice from Goldberg from 2021, who had asked him to be a good soldier. However, Karrion added that even after being loyal to the company and not questioning their decisions, he did not get pushed enough.

Following his WWE release, Kross appeared on the Ariel Helwani show and revealed it was hard for him to convince Triple H that it was a work, not a shoot. He felt it was one of the contributing points towards Hunter arranging a middleman to work out a new contract.

"I had a conversation with [Triple H] earlier in the year about all of this. They took a point man and they put him between us to communicate. Now, the point man is responsible for all the dialogue. He knows what I want to do... I've made it very, very clear that I want to keep the lanes of communication and dialogue open. It's a very weird situation. It's weird, dude," Kross felt in the show.
