The WWE CCO claimed to be privileged to witness Punk's growth as a human being and cherish where his life and career are currently at. "I was privileged to watch him grow as a human being, to step out here and apologize to the people of Saudi, to just cherish where he is at in life and his career and the things that he gets to do and the opportunities that he has, And I was incredibly proud of him," said Triple H during the post-show of the WWE Night of Champions.

When Punk showed up in the kickoff event, he was booed badly despite being one of the top baby faces of the company since returning at the Survivor Series 2023. To make his rivalry with Cena work, Punk had to get the support from the fans. Hence, his apology was necessary even from a professional point of view.
How did CM Punk apologize to Saudi Arabia and fans?
In the kickoff event, one of the fans named Mohammed in the crowd asked Punk to apologize for his past tweet. The Second City Saint claimed he was crabby and wrote a mean tweet to The Miz and apologized to him for the same. He then openly apologized to Mohammed and the entire Saudi Arabia for his actions.

"This guy wants me to apologize for a mean tweet I wrote six years ago. Hey, listen, legitimately had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I woke up and I was crabby and I wrote a mean tweet to The Miz. And I apologized to The Miz. And sir, what’s your name? Mohammed? Mohammed, I sincerely apologize to you and all of Saudi Arabia," Punk said in his statement.
