WWE visited London last summer for the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, which was a huge success for the business and the city. John Cena surprised everyone by making a surprise visit and teasing a possible future WrestleMania that will take place in London, to the delight of the over 18,000 attendees. It would be the first-ever international WrestleMania event if it were to happen. That looks like it could happen sooner rather than later.

Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, made a strong statement in April expressing his desire to host the "Showcase of Immortals." He met with WWE President Nick Khan and CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque this week to talk about the company's future in London. The potential of bringing WrestleMania to the UK is being discussed by WWE and the Mayor of London. About the possibility of London, England hosting WWE's biggest show of the year, Fightful Select received the following comment from the London Government.

Levesque emphasised that, having hosted events there since the late 1980s, WWE has a longstanding relationship with London. He said that the audience is clamouring for more and acknowledged the success of numerous other global PLEs that have taken place just this year. "WWE and London have a successful working relationship that dates back several decades, and our meeting with Sadiq Khan to discuss the possible advantages of continuing this partnership has been excellent.

The enthusiasm from the Mayor and his staff in London is evident, and WWE has already brought record-breaking events to Australia, France, Scotland, Saudi Arabia, and Canada this year alone. Any community that hosts the two-night event knows that WrestleMania brings in a lot of money. Given their previous massive turnouts for Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank, fans in the UK would undoubtedly want to see a WrestleMania event. In London, one may assume that WrestleMania would sell out quickly.

Wembley Stadium use to host  AEW's AEW All-In performance for two years

The legendary Wembley Stadium has played home to AEW's AEW All-In performance for the last two years. More than 80,000 fans showed up for the event last year, setting a record for any organization, much less the second-biggest wrestling organization in the world, in terms of attendance. Since that western wrestling organizations have not yet fully penetrated many international markets, it seems reasonable that WWE would be aiming to take advantage of that.
