For the past few weeks, speculations have circulated that WWE superstar Chad Gable's contract was coming to an end. WWE, like many other wrestlers who signed five-year contracts in 2019, hopes to keep as many of them as possible. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre have just re-signed with the organization, but Ricochet has supposedly left. Other wrestlers are apparently in the middle of contract discussions, and while it didn't seem likely that Gable would depart given his present status as a big WWE Raw star, never say never in professional wrestling.

When questioned lately about re-signing with WWE, Gable confirmed that he is not leaving and discussed how the current administration has influenced his decision to stay. "Yes, I have resigned. What I'll say about Hunter [Triple H] is that when he joined us and took over, I believe you noticed my trajectory shift fairly quickly," Gable told Gorilla Position. "Even though I was in a tag team with Otis, I started receiving singles matchups with some of our best guys. "To me, a light bulb went off: 'Things might be different now,' and they have been ever since.”

Chad Gable went on to discuss how his work has evolved, including how he now makes the most of his television time, whether alone or with The Alpha Academy. While he was first skeptical of Levesque's attitude towards the locker room, he now concedes that what he promised was genuine.

Chad Gable challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship

Following the great night of WWE Clash in the Castle, in which Gable challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship, WWE CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque was asked about Gable's retention at a press conference. Levesque reveals that he wants to retain him in WWE indefinitely. "The truth is, he's an incredible performer, and I want him to be here forever, to be seen by as many people as possible, and to leave as healthy as possible."

The atmosphere has changed, and he is a part of it, so I would have been sorry if he had been here all along and then left. I would have wished him great luck wherever he went; that is part of the game. As for the chats we had, that is not for me to discuss; I am simply glad he is home where he belongs. The fact that we are all doing this together is what makes it so fantastic."
