In a past interview with BBC, John Cena praised Cristiano Ronaldo as the most popular Footballer in the world. The WWE Superstar said Ronaldo was his favorite Football star and added that the term popularity had its meaning thanks to Ronaldo. The statement of John has resurfaced on the internet after the star Footballer created his YouTube channel to break many existing records in streaming.

"If I had to name some famous footballers, I would start and end with Cristiano Ronaldo. That’s it," said Cena in the interview. Recently, the star wrestler was interviewed, and he spoke about a lot of things. Cena regarded Roman Reigns to be the GOAT of WWE for increasing the brand value of WWE TKO over the last decade or so with his efforts.

Cena spoke to the BBC about some of his best moments as a Football fan. He claimed to have never experienced a Football match live in a stadium. However, he remembered a Tottenham match that occurred the same night when WWE had an event in London. John revealed that he entered the stadium, and walked into the pitch, and experienced the vibe of the arena.

'Being an inspirational coach might be my best role' - John Cena

"Tottenham were playing the same night I had a WWE event in London. But I was able to go and see the stadium and I was lucky enough to actually walk on the pitch," added Cena in the interview. Cena felt it was similar to going to a Baseball arena and claimed it was nostalgic. John Cena was asked about his potential role in an ideal world if he was associated with the beautiful sport.

The 16-time world champion claimed that being an inspirational coach would be his best role. "I think being an inspirational coach might be my best role," Cena concluded. The star wrestler recently claimed that he has 36 dates set during his farewell tour. If he manages to win the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, or the Money in the Bank, Cena hopes to become a world champion for the 17th time.
