WATCH: Samantha Irvin reacts as Tozawa and Otis kiss Maxxine Dupri on WWE Raw

WWE posted the video of Samantha Irvin's reaction as she announced the entrance of Alpha Academy on Monday Night Raw. During the segment, the duo of Otis and Tozawa gave a passionate kiss to Dupiri on either side of her cheeks. The video has gone viral on social media. The fans have mixed opinions on the segment.

Many felt it was unnecessary for WWE to post the reaction of Irvin. The star announcer usually gets negative reactions from online fans. It is similar to the way John Cena was treated by the fans when he was too good and had little to no competition from the roster. It seems like the fans do not want to see WWE giving too much importance to an announcer.

Samantha Irvin introduced the name of Maxxine under the faction of Alpha Academy. In the segment, Otis and Tozawa kissed her which had a mixed opinion from the fans as well. While some felt the duo of Otis and Tozawa was lucky to have Dupri in their faction, others felt they should not have kissed her. Some regretted that they could not be in the place of Tozawa and Otis.

Maxxine Dupri's improved in-ring action

Earlier this year, Maxxine was trolled heavily by the fans for her mediocre in-ring skills. It led to someone like Rhea Ripley standing to her support. Maxxine seems to have worked hard behind the scenes to get better as a wrestler. She was taken out of the faction and was kept on the sidelines in the Alpha Academy story for the last few months.

When Chad Gable was removed from the faction, Dupri returned to action. Her match against Ivy Nile was the first in a long time. It was her first match since wrestling against Candice LaRae. Maxxine showed aggression against Nile and seemed to be a better version of herself. Before she could have a longer match, the Wyatt Sicks interrupted and took on the proceedings.
