Possible scenarios for World Heavyweight Championship till Summerslam 2024

Damian Priest won the World Heavyweight Championship title on Night Two of WrestleMania XL after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. Even before he could win his maiden world title, Drew McIntyre ended the 316-day reign of Seth Rollins by pinning him. As the Scottish Warrior got distracted due to his obsession with CM Punk, ended up losing his title.

In the process, Drew became one of the shortest reigning World Champions, staying in power for just 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Raw after Mania further saw Punk costing McIntyre a chance at the world title, as the former stopped the Scottish Warrior from delivering claymore to Jey Uso. The latter will now face Priest on Monday Night Raw for the world title.

In all likelihood, Priest will retain his title. He will head to Backlash undefeated and is likely to retain the title. The member of the Judgement Day is to be up against Drew at the Clash at the Castle. As the event is set to take place in Glasgow, McIntyre is likely to become the champion again to have his glory back. He would be the champion till the Money in the Bank.

Triple threat match for ages

Ever since CM Punk made his return to WWE in the Survivor Series 2023, two people have shown their hate towards him - Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. There was a good chance of all three taking on each other in WrestleMania XL. But an unfortunate tricep injury kept Punk out of action. At the other end, Rollins injured his right knee before Royal Rumble 2024.

The fans wish to see the three feud with each other. As Rollins is undergoing surgery for his right knee, he might be back for action by Money in the Bank. For Summerslam 2024, WWE might book a triple-threat match between Punk, Seth, and Drew as originally planned. The cult of personality might win his first title on returning to WWE by beating McIntyre in the main event.
