The Rock and Roman Reigns ended supreme on the Night One of WrestleMania XL. The main event of Night One witnessed a brilliant match between the two sides. It is arguably the greatest tag team match in recent times in WrestleMania. Despite being out of action for a long time, The Rock seemed to be at his best. The class was written all over.
The entrances of every Superstar was brilliant. They all meant business. The match started on a slow note. As soon as the Superstars got going, it was insane. Seth Rollins' right knee got injured during the match. What followed it was domination from the Bloodline. The Rock repeatedly targeted Rollins' knee. The World Heavyweight champion further suffered big pain on his back.
Roman was good too. He delivered super man punch to Cody. Despite the fightback from Rollins, Reigns aimed at finishing the match. The final boss threatened the referee to follow his orders. It was an ultimate cinema in the arena. Even without Bloodline rules it seemed like one. Cody and Seth had no option but to manage with whatever they had. Night two is set to be difficult for both Seth and Rhodes.
Bloodline rules for Night two
One of the highlights of the match was Roman mistakenly spearing The Rock. As he was set for the finisher, Rollins cleverly pulled Cody aside which led to the people's champ suffering the wrath. Despite the hiccups, the Bloodline duo managed to survive. The great one took a dig at Mamma Rhodes repeatedly. The match was great. However, the crowd was not too great.
Cody was about to claim a win and delivered a couple of cross Rhodes to Roman. Just when Cody prepared for the third one, The Rock gave a belt treatment. He then delivered Rock bottom and followed it up with the people's elbow to pin Cody. On Night two, the challenge is huge for both Seth and Cody. While Seth has injured his knee, Cody will be against Bloodline rules.
