R Truth's 'childhood hero' comes to the new tag team's rescue on Monday Night Raw

R Truth's 'childhood hero' came to his rescue on Monday Night Raw. R Truth and The Miz set up a match with Judgement Day two days after winning Raw men's tag team championship. It was a handicapped match with JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio taking on R Truth and The Miz. The tag team champions did not seem to be alone.

John Cena came to a thunderous welcome from the fans. Till that point, Judgement Day seemed to be running the show. McDonagh, Dominik, and Balor were all over the Awesome Truth duo. They definitely needed a support to equal the numbers game. As hinted earlier by R Truth himself, his childhood hero came to the ring for their assistance.

Cena teamed up the Awesome Truth duo. The match happened as R Truth came to celebrate the win of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in WrestleMania XL. Unfortunately, he was disrespected by Judgement Day which led to the match. R Truth was about to announce the third member of the tag team but was interrupted by Judgement Day. R Truth claimed the teammate to be 'unseen' by the members of Judgement Day.

R Truth, The Miz, and John Cena deliver AA 

As R Truth and The Miz were getting beaten up, in walked Cena to their rescue. The fans went crazy and cheered the trio. Cena came up with his usual moves. The fans were on their toes and cheered all the three. They delivered 'You can't see me' to the Judgement Day trio. The trio then delivered '5 knuckle shuffles' to the Judgement Day trio. 

The awesome Truth duo and Cena then delivered AA to the Judgement Day trio and pinned to claim a win. It was good to see the trio teaming up together after their history against each other. Cena came to Cody's assistance on Night two and took out Solo Sikoa. He was later up against The Rock and received a Rock bottom. It did help the American Nightmare in finishing his story against the Bloodline.
