Pete Dunne used a cricket bat in the match against Sheamus on WWE Raw. The cruiserweight sent the Celtic Warrior out of the park like a cork ball and delivered a big boot to claim a win via pinfall. It was an innovative way for Dunne to beat Sheamus who was engaged with the referee while attempting to hit Dunne with a Shillelagh on Raw.
The match between the two turned out to be a banger as Sheamus promised. Ahead of their match, the Celtic warrior cut a promo and asserted the fact that he did not want to call Pete a butch. But he repeatedly called him the butch quite intentionally to set the pace of the match.

Sheamus looked to be in a great shape and was up for the fight. While the fans cheered him. Pete Dunne was booed. For the rest of the match, both delivered a banger with some great moves. Sheamus delivered a powerbomb through the table and hit Pete's chest for 16-17 times in a row.

Things seemed to be slipping out of Pete's hands. He brought the Shillelagh and tried to hit Sheamus with it. But the former world champion caught it and tried to do a reversal. He aimed to hit Dunne with it. The referee interfered and tried to stop Sheamus from using Shillelagh.
Pete seized the opportunity and got a cricket bat from under the ring. As Sheamus was engaged in a discussion with the referee, Dunne hit him with the cricket bat. Referee did not recognize it. Pete delivered a big boot and went for a pinfall.
Sheamus lost the match and Pete had the final laugh. The fans booed the negative practice of the cruiserweight to claim a win. Sheamus had himself to blame as he could not get the job done. But what he did was what he promised - Delivered a banger. It is to be seen what the duo has in the store next week on Raw.
