NBA and MLB fans dispute over better rookie season between Victor Wembanyama and Paul Skenes, Livvy Dunne's partner reacts

Fans from the NBA and MLB argued about the better rookie season between Victor Wembanyama and Paul Skenes. The absurd comparison arose after the MLB star gave his views on the comparison with Victor. For Pittsburgh Pirates, Skenes has had a terrific season where neither he nor his team lost a game. The NBA fans left no stone unturned.

In the defense of Victor, the fans claimed that Wembanyama was great for the San Antonio Spurs and claimed many records. At a tender age, Victor became the first ever French player to be a number one draft pick. He turned out to be the NBA Rookie Player of the Year in 2023. On both ends, there were arguments against players of two different sports.

In an interview, Skenes was asked about his opinion on Wembanyama. The MLB players were in doubt about whether or not to say anything about their rookie season. The pitcher claimed he doesn't watch the NBA but knew a bit about Victor. "I don't know that I agree or disagree with that. I don't watch the NBA at all. I know who he is, but I don't know a whole lot about him," said Skenes when asked about Victor.

The fans had a mixed opinion on the topic. While some felt Skenes could be big, others felt he might not have longevity in MLB. Some of the fans felt that the Basketball player had a better season considering the lineup of his side. Some of the fans took a dig at the Baseball player and claimed winning Livvy Dunne's heart was Paul's biggest achievement. 

Some of the same fans felt it was not a right comparison as the two athletes belonged to a different sport. Both Skenes and Victor will be in action for their respective country and sports at the Paris Olympics. They would be hoping to help their team to win the gold medal. There was no proper outcome of the discussion, as the fans resorted to a stalemate.
