According to Fightful Select, former AEW World Champion Hangman Page is slated to return to the promotion shortly. Page hasn't competed since the Revolution. He was not wounded during the pay-per-view and has taken time off for personal reasons. According to reports, both AEW and Page were aware of the impending separation well in advance.

The article continued by stating that Page will make his return within the next month, with the expectation that he will be a heel. While an official return date has yet to be announced, insiders say it will happen within the next month, maybe by early July. Page's creative ideas for his return have not been revealed, although indicators suggest he will continue in his current heel character.

While it is possible that more time may be added to his contract as a result of his absence, both parties were aware of the situation in advance, implying that it may have already been taken into account. Page's appearance at AEW's Dynamite, which is scheduled near his house this week, is currently unknown.

Adam Page set to return shortly

However, with The Elite presently battling with Team AEW, many feel Adam ''Hangman'' Page should return to the heel group ahead of the impending Blood and Guts Match at the titular pay-per-view.

With Adam Page set to return shortly, one can't help but worry whether he'll go for his bitter nemesis, Swerve Strickland. The Anxious Millenial Cowboy and the current AEW World Champion have had a heated feud since last year.

The two met at WrestleDream 2023, where Strickland beat Adam ''Hangman'' Page. The gifted stars faced off again at the Full Gear PPV, this time in a Texas Death Match, as Strickland once again defeated Page.

In the February 7, 2024 episode of Dynamite, Page and Strickland competed for the chance to fight Samoa Joe for the World Title at Revolution. However, both men were crowned the number-one contenders when the match ended in a 30-minute stalemate. Joe defended his championship in a three-way battle at Revolution.
