Joe Hendry suffered a massive screwjob at the NXT Battle Royal match. On his debut in WWE, the TNA star lasted less than a minute and was the first competitor to be eliminated. The fans were not happy with it and came up with the chants of "Bull sh*t". Backstage on NXT, Hendry expressed his disappointment with Shawn Michaels and let out a major spoiler.

Joe spoke about him appearing on 'any show'. It was obviously an indication that he might be on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown in the upcoming weeks. There was no way WWE going to bury him on his debut. The company is run by sensible ones. Having Joe for a one-off match like the Battle Royal and probably giving him a title shot was a small plan.

But WWE always looks at long-term plans. Someone as big a star as Hendry was a bit too small for the role. He is likely to be called up for the main rosters and for big roles. Very soon, the fans might be able to see him make his debut on Raw or Smackdown. There is a good chance of him appearing in the next week of Monday Night Raw.

Major payback waiting for Joe Hendry?

There is a big reason behind WWE saving the best of Joe. A screwjob on debut would lead to fans wanting more from the TNA star. He will be rallied upon by the fans when he appears on the main roster. Thereby, his star value is only going to skyrocket from here. It is actually a good plan from WWE looking at the long-term perspectives in the collaboration.

The other day after Drew McIntyre quit WWE, TNA posted a video of his debut in the company. The fans were curious about the next move of the Scottish Warrior. If one connects all the dots, there can be a conclusion drawn, which could explain the reason behind WWE screwing Joe up on his debut on the yellow brand.
