“I wish I could, man. I can’t. That would be very tempting, but there’s just no way possible,” Angle said. “I have had my knees replaced; I now need to have my shoulders replaced. I had five neck surgeries, two back surgeries. My body just is really banged up. There’s really nothing I can do,” he added.
Angle enjoyed a legendary career in both WWE and TNA. His final WWE match came at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, where he lost to Baron Corbin.
On the same podcast, Angle also shared his excitement about WWE and TNA working together. “I never thought in a million years WWE would ever partner up with TNA,” he said.

Explaining why the partnership excites him, Angle added: “The reason why I love it is because I know eventually the WWE is going to buy the TNA library and the WWE will now own all the Kurt Angle footage at TNA and the WWE fans are going to be able to have access to it.”
According to him, his career in TNA was even better than his WWE run, and he believes the collaboration will eventually lead to WWE acquiring TNA’s library.

“I know it’s going to happen eventually. I just never thought it would in a million years. But now that they have partnered and they’re both invested in each other, I think eventually they’re going to buy the library,” Angle concluded.
