On WWE SmackDown before Clash in Paris, Sami Zayn dethroned Solo Sikoa to become the new US Champion. The Canadian star has won the NXT Championship and Tag Team titles on both Raw and SmackDown previously. He has additionally been an Intercontinental Champion 4 times in his career, with a notable win against Gunther at WrestleMania.
Sami won his maiden WWE title in NXT when he beat his Wrestling soulmate, Kevin Owens, to win the NXT Championship on December 11, 2024. His NXT Championship reign lasted for 62 days before Owens reclaimed the title from him. For over five years, Sami did not win any title in his main roster call-up.

On March 8, 2020, Sami won the IC Title for the first time, and his reign lasted for 65 days before ending on May 12. Later in the year, he went after the same title and won it on September 27. His second IC Title reign lasted for 86 days, till he was dethroned on December 22.

His third IC title run came from 11th February to 4th March, 2022, following which he got involved in the Bloodline story. Sami's best work came after that, as he won the Undisputed Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39 along with Kevin against Jey and Jimmy Uso and ended their historic title reign.

The duo remained the tag champions from April 1 to September 2 in 2023, for a period of 154 days. Sami's biggest singles win came at WrestleMania XL, where he ended Gunther's IC Title run of 666 days. He remained the IC Champion for 119 days before losing to Bron Breakker on August 3 at SummerSlam.
