Last week during Elimination Chamber, the 16-time WWE Champion John Cena turned heel for the first time in decades. Some young kids, who were present in the arena during the Elimination Chamber 2025 were in shock after seeing the WWE's most loved superstar John Cena turn heel to attack Cody Rhodes.

Recently, WWE shared a post of fans were in shock after seeing their favourite superstar turning heel. All the young kids were completely in shock and disappointed after John Cena beat Cody Rhodes and held WWE Undisputed title in his hand. Since joining WWE in 2003 John Cena has been babyface in WWE. He has come a long way and cemented his position as one of the greatest WWE wrestlers in history.

After winning the Elimination Chamber 2025, the current WWE undisputed champion appeared in the ring to have a word with John Cena. After some time, The Final Boss ‘The Rock’ showed up in the ring. In a fully packed arena in Toronto, John Cena attacked Cody Rhodes after he turned down The Rock's offer to sell his soul.

In addition to competing against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 41, John Cena won the Elimination Chamber match. It is anticipated that Cena will make his WWE television debut on Monday Night RAW on March 17. John Cena has only made three appearances this year during his retirement tour.

John Cena hopes to end his career on good note

His first appearance was on January 6th, at the Raw on Netflix launch was followed by on February 2nd, at the Royal Rumble; and on March 1st, at the Elimination Chamber. He has been filming Matchbox in Budapest, Hungary, and is currently returning to Africa to make another feature. Although, Cena's return to WWE TV has not yet been announced, it is likely to happen shortly because WrestleMania 41 is quickly approaching.

As John Cena is ending his WWE career he hopes to win the WWE title. With this title, he will break the record of Ric Flair. Currently, both John Cena and Ric Flair are the only two wrestlers who have won the title 16 times. John Cena hopes to break this record in WrestleMania 41. Additionally, it will be fascinating to see if WWE continues this story primarily on SmackDown or has him come on Raw.John Cena usually appears at both shows when making a comeback, so it wouldn't be shocking if that were the case here as well, particularly in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41.
