WWE superstar Jon Moxley just captured the world's biggest title, marking the first person in the wrestling industry to achieve such a stunning feat. Notably, Moz took the IWGP World Heavyweight Title after defeating Tetsuya Naito at the NJPW Windy City Riot. Meanwhile, he is the first man in history to have won the world titles for WWE, AEW, and NJPW.

The clash was set up after Jon Moxley, who planned a rematch among the two after their spectacular clash at the G1 Climax Tournament in 2019, challenged the winner to a title dispute at Sakura Genesis last week.
Meanwhile, tonight's fight was of the same level as the two players gave it their all, placing one of the most renowned titles in the business at risk. Jon Moxley had to hit three successive Death Riders for him to get the three-count; thus, it took everything he had to claim the title of champion.

He boasted about the win and how everything would be now that he was at the top of NJPW after the match. He claimed that this would be his last challenge and intended for his protege Shota Umino to be his final opponent, but Ren Narita caught him off guard by hinting at a rivalry among the two.
Mox then declared that he wanted to go after Narita, brazenly asserting that he had evolved from a young boy to a dead man.

Khan praised Moxley on his historic championship win

Moxley came out on top here, and he's going to split his time between AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling. The yearly Mysterious Door crossover event, taking place in June, is going to play a major role for the newly crowned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

Meanwhile,  Jack Perry battled Shota Umino in a losing match, making him one of the event's other well-known names. Khan praised Moxley on his historic championship win and acknowledged Moxley's track record of winning gold in the Wintrust Arena in Windy City.
