John Cena appeared on his penultimate episode on Raw as an active wrestler in Boston, his hometown. The Leader of the Cenation Army beat Dominik Mysterio and won the Intercontinental Championship to become a Grand Slam Champion. Following his appearance, Cena took to X and thanked the hometown fans for allowing him to do what he loves one last time.

The star wrestler was glad to be able to wrestle one last time in a place he loves, surrounded by his people. He claimed that the efforts put in by the wrestlers become meaningful only if the fans invest in them and buy them. Along with it, he posted the video of his lifting the IC Title upon beating Dom.

"Thank you, Boston. It meant so much to be able, for one last time, to be allowed an opportunity to do what I love, in a place I love, surrounded by those I love. Our performances are only meaningful if YOU, the audience, invest in us and decide they are," Cena wrote in his post on X.

The veteran added that the smile on his face and the awe in his eyes depict his gratitude and appreciation for the fans for everything they have provided for him. He concluded by claiming that his final appearance in Boston meant more than anything he could ever express.
