Jinder Mahal is set to make his first appearance in the wrestling world. After getting released by WWE, there were rumors regarding his next move. While Jinder has not confirmed any long-term deal as of now, it seems as if companies like AEW, TNA, and NJPW are interested in him. Not many anticipated him to get released after the spike he got earlier this year.

The Modern Day Maharaja cut a brilliant promo against Seth Rollins and challenged him for the World Heavyweight Championship. It was during the same match that Rollins sustained a knee injury which kept him out of action for some time. The former WWE Superstar gave a good performance against Rollins and held his own against The Rock who returned to Monday Night Raw.

The release of Jinder hence came as a surprise to many. In fact, Mahal did not even get a chance to appear on Raw after his loss against the visionary. Ahead of WWE Draft 2024, the Indian wrestler was released by the Stamford-based company. The Indian wrestling fans showed a huge outrage and extended their support to Jinder. It seems like they now have a piece of good news.

Jinder Mahal to appear in Wrestlecade weekend

Mahal is set to appear in action for the first time after getting released by WWE. The former world champion will be in the Wrestle Cade weekend later this year. The official handle of the company took to X and confirmed the same. After getting released by WWE, Jinder's name will be Raj Dhesi. The event is set to take place at Benton Convention Center Winston-Salem.

"#WrestleCade Weekend returns with former WWE champion Raj Dhesi fka Jinder Mahal. Brought to you by our friends at Frizzle Promotions. Benton Convention Center Winston-Salem, NC Nov 29-30 & Dec 1," wrote Wrestle Cade on X. It is to be seen if Jinder can revive his career after not being that good in the last few years. In his prime, Mahal won the world title in WWE.
