Jim Ross has made a claim on Ricochet's potential entry to AEW from WWE. The star wrestler was taken out by Bron Breakker in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, which marked his erasing from WWE TV. The reports claimed Ricochet to join AEW in the days to come. When asked about the same in a recent interview, the AEW commentator gave his opinion.

The former WWE commentator said that it would not be a surprise to see Ricochet in AEW. But he wondered if it would make a difference. Jim felt that there would be a need to present Ricochet well. Jim claimed that Prince Puma was a highly talented wrestler and added that the athletic factor of the wrestler might take him far in the field of Wrestling.

Jim said that it seemed to him an obvious point Ricochet would be aiming to make AEW his new home for the next few years. "But he's a very talented, athletic kid. So, who knows? But it seems to me to be kind of obvious that the AEW brand would be where he might migrate to for regular work," said Ross in his statement. It seems like the AEW commentator is batting for Ricochet's entry for AEW.

'If Tony Khan doesn't want me there, then he'll tell me' - Jim Ross

He was further asked about his future in the company. Ross said that he will be in some of the upcoming shows. Jim said that he would be at the upcoming PPV event of the company. The former WWE commentator said that Tony Khan is very supportive of him. He claimed that if Tony did not want him, it would be clarified. But Ross said that he was not indicated of anything as such.

I've got some appearances coming up. The next time I'm going on the road will be for the AEW pay-per-view, so I'm gonna resume my schedule of that activity. So I'll be at [Forbidden Door], as far as I know. If Tony Khan doesn't want me there, then he'll tell me, but that's not been the case. He's been very supportive, which I appreciate," said Jim.
