Rhodes could potentially turn heel at the MetLife Stadium against John Cena and become the leader of Seth's faction amidst his injury concerns. The duo could potentially be a part of the original plan of the Final Boss to rule the WWE universe, with him being the top board member.

It is worth noting that neither Cody nor Seth has had anything against each other since the end of their epic feud in 2022. In fact, Cody and Seth teamed up during the leadup to WrestleMania XL and ensured Roman Reigns lost his world title. Despite different directions since then for the duo, they have never had heat.
