The road to Survivor Series 2024 might have already started and not as many fans have recognized it. There have been a couple of instances that pointed at the Raw and Smackdown bosses indirectly being involved in such segments. One of them happened on Smackdown and involved stars like Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, while the other involved Tiffany Stratton and Rhea Ripley on Raw.

On Smackdown last week, Nick Aldis had a backstage segment with Cody and Randy. The Smackdown GM wanted to take care of the brawl between Cody, Orton, and Kevin Ownes. The latter had entered the arena despite being asked not to. Kevin caused chaos by making a massive claim on Rhodes.

The star wrestler claimed that it was the American Nightmare who attacked him and not the other way around. As Cody came to address the issue, the security guards and referees tried to stop the duo from fogging with each other. Randy tried to do the same but met the wrath of KO.

Tiffany Stratton's dig at Adam Pearce and WWE Raw

As Kevin punched Randy, the Viper returned the favour. Backstage on the blue brand, Randy convinced Cody Rhodes to not give heed to KO. He asked Rhodes to concentrate on his Crown Jewel match against Gunther. Nick appreciated the fact that Randy was standing for Smackdown and said he wanted Cody to win the title.

Nick Aldis meant he wanted Cody to stand tall against Raw on behalf of Smackdown. On Raw, Tiffany Stratton came with a message from Nia Jax for Liv Morgan. During the segment, Mami tried to attack Raquel Rodriguez and Liv. It led to Liv and Raquel retaliating against Tiffy and Mami.

Backstage on Raw, Stratton expressed her disappointment at being treated badly on Raw. She said Aldis was so much better than Pearce and added that the Smackdown GM would have never allowed such a thing to have happened to a messenger. In the process, she took a dig at the red brand and supported Smackdown.
