Drew McIntyre sent a message to Damian Priest and has a slight advantage ahead of the Clash at the Castle. The Scottish Warrior did not just beat Finn Balor, but took on the entire Judgement Day on his way to claim a win. In the main event of Monday Night Raw, Drew stood tall and got the much-needed workout ahead of his home bound PLE.

Earlier in the night, a match was decided between Drew and Balor by Damian Priest. There was a consequence of the result for the Clash at the Castle. If McIntyre was to win, the Judgement Day would be barred from the ringside at the PLE. But if Balor was to win, the entire faction was set to watch Priest defend the title against the Scottish Warrior in his own backyard.

As Drew claimed a win, he will be getting a chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion with no interruption from any member of the Judgement Day. The match between Finn and Drew turned out to be great. It sensed as if Balor was at his best in the match as he brought the aggression to the equation. It asked McIntyre to be at his best too.

Drew McIntyre delivers Claymore for win against Finn Balor

Both wrestlers took on each other well. The Scottish Warrior aimed to win it at all costs to avoid a potential 1 on 5 battle at the Clash at the Castle. Balor seemed like he wanted to prove a point that he still got in him. The star wrestler was successful in doing so. Finn put on a show and proved that he can still be trusted to deliver the goods against big opponents.

Towards the conclusion of the match, Priest arrived in the ringside. It seemed like McIntyre was ready for it. He knew Carlito was behind him and took him out. On the other side of the ring, he took out JD McDonagh and got rid of all threats ahead of him. Drew delivered a claymore and pinned Balor to emerge victorious.
