Ethan Page startled fans with his appearance on WWE NXT last Tuesday (May 28). He had just debuted on AEW TV a few weeks before, but he assaulted NXT Champion Trick Williams to end the program last week. Speculation has developed over his contract condition and whether he has signed with the Stamford-based promotion.

All Ego debuted on this week's WWE NXT, pulling into the parking lot while General Manager Ava waited with authorities. He declared himself a free agent before asking her if she was willing to 'iron out this agreement.'

Following his attack on Trick Williams, Ethan Page posted a video declaring himself a free agent. It looks like he may get a contract, but fans may still anticipate him to appear in other campaigns. Triple H has been far more flexible with celebrities participating in various firms. Page debuted on the same night that TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace was introduced as Roxanne Perez's challenger at NXT Battleground.

The Canadian talent appears to be battling Trick Williams for the NXT World Championship. Given that the former AEW star has only recently joined WWE's developmental division, this is a significant push for him.

Ethan Page was always a target for WWE before he joined NXT.

It has taken a while for Ethan Page to join the WWE, ever since rumors circulated that the star's longtime fans were representatives of the largest wrestling organization in the world. When he was still performing with AEW, he seemed to be on the company's radar in the past.

Ethan Page worked at AEW for three years, initially collaborating with Scorpio Sky. He then became affiliated with The Firm and developed a feud with Matt Hardy. He spent some time with ROH but never lived up to fans' expectations in the Jacksonville-based company.

The Canadian has previously held the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team and AAW Heavyweight Championships. He received training from CZW icon Adam Flash and former ROH World Champion Michael Elgin.
