It seems that the world of WWE has evolved today. However, a lot of credit for the change goes to WWE. With these changes in the product, WWE has become more friendly and interactive as compared to earlier.

In the same vein, here are the eight WWE eras and the great superstars who led them magnificently.

1. The Golden Era: Hulk Hogan

The golden era indeed thrived under Hulk Hogan, who had huge success from 1982 to 1993. Notably, no superstar can match Hulk Hogan's presence. However, the superstar holds a great place in the company's history.

2. The New Generation Era: Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels

This was the most underwhelming era in the company's history, from 1993 to 1997. Notably, credibility was lost in the generation as Mr McMahon suffered great consequences after losing to Hulk Hogan. However, great superstars like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels became the most popular superstars in the worst era in the history of WWE.

3. The Attitude Era: Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock

Notably, the attitude era is widely regarded as one of the most popular eras in WWE history and will remain so. However, there were reports that WWE was making tremendous money during this period.

4. The Ruthless Aggression Era: The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, John Cena, and Triple H

The Ruthless Aggression era, which lasted from 2002 to 2008, went on to change the entire complexion of the business and focus on improving performance. Notably, a plethora of superstars were introduced in this phase and went on to dominate in their respective brands.

5. The PG Era: John Cena

Notably, the PG Era was from 2008 to 2011, and the company has seen major changes in this era. Notably, John Cena emerged as the untouchable superman who went on to give excellent performances.

6. The Reality Era: Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar

Notably, CM Punk's great rise in WWE history went on to change the whole business and bring many opportunities to the table for the company to invest in. CM Punk indeed began this era; it was Daniel Bryan who ruled the event.

7. The New Era (2016-2024): Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, and AJ Styles

However, WWE's new era has brought extreme limelight to the company's stance, and the inception of brand extension brings fresh content every week. Notably, the New Era, which began in 2016, turned it into one of their biggest successful projects in history.

8. The ongoing era (February 2024–Present): The Rock and Cody Rhodes

The new era started with the WrestleMania XL event, where The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes. In the episodes following it, the Rock went on to give the best treatment to the American Nightmare. In the last few weeks, a lot has changed in WWE. There has been the usage of blood, no censoring of cuss words, involvement of family in feuds, and a lot of other stuff that used to happen in the Attitude era and the ruthless aggression era.
