Bayley beats Iyo Sky in thrilling match to become WWE women's champion in WrestleMania XL

Smackdown has a new champion in the women's division. Bayley avenged the best way possible against the damage control as she defeated Iyo Sky in a thrilling battle to clinch the world title. Iyo delivered a great performance in a match which she dominated for most parts. For her title defense, the Japanese wrestler put her best foot forward and gave a tough time to Bayley.

The crowd was brilliant for the match singing Bayley's song throughout. The former WWE Champion was highly athletic and impressed everyone. She fought like a champion and showed why she was one of the most dominant champions till that point. Bayley had a difficult time in the middle failing to have momentum in the match. Iyo dominated the matchup and had the control of the match.

She delivered brilliant moonsault and forced Bayley to give up. She initiated several blocks. Bayley found it difficult to get out of Sky's clutch. She delivered an STFU and forced Bayley to tap. But Bayley was determined and countered it well. It was then the time of Bayley to show her skills. She delivered a belly to back and aimed to pin Sky. Momentarily, she was back in the match.

She delivered a couple of more belly to back, but Sky put on an incredible display of skills and countered the finisher manoeuvre. The Damage Ctrl member got frustrated and delivered her finisher. But Bayley was determined and kicked out. Iyo went up to the ropes and delivered a pretty moon Sault. It seemed like Bayley was not taking her eyes off. It was brilliant to watch.

While Bayley was determined, Iyo was a bit frustrated. She was desperate for a win and delivered multiple moon Saults. But Bayley kicked out again. As the Japanese wrestler aimed for another moon Sault, Bayley moved out of the target. She then delivered close line and pinned Sky. It was a great end to a match which was brilliant. It was arguably the career-best performance from both wrestlers.
