'We're gonna make...' - Cody Rhodes reveals what the Rock whispered in his ears on Raw after WrestleMania XL

Cody Rhodes was in an interview recently where he revealed what The Rock had whispered to him in his ear. On Raw after WrestleMania XL, the duo had a bit of conversation before the Final Boss exited the company for about half a year. Cody claimed that The Rock said both of them were going to make their dad proud. Cody's statement has now gone viral on social media.

On Raw after Mania, The Rock congratulated Cody on not just winning his title, but finishing his story. He asked Rhodes to give him the title for a moment and wore it. He then gave his people's title handed over by Mohammad Ali's wife to Cody. The Final Boss then tesased a big match before going for a hiatus.

The People's champ loved to face Cody Rhodes in a title vs title match if Rhodes was still a champion when he returned. After the statement, The Rock whispered something in his ears and disappeared. Cody had a bit of smile which vanished soon. Even backstage on the arena, his expression was not too great which planted seeds of doubts in fans' minds.

When asked about the same in the interview, Cody claimed that there was nothing bad said by the star wrestler in thr segment. In fact, he claimed that it was a good segment which he would remember for a long time. The American Nightmare said that he and The Rock embraced each other. 

The world champion revealed that the people's champ had something sweet to say in his hears. He assumed that the Rock would not mind him revealing it. Cody revealed that The Rock said both of them would make their dads proud.

"Him and I had an embrace. He told me something super sweet in my ear. I’m sure he doesn’t mind me sharing, even though we’re not best buddies, but he said, 'We’re gonna make both our dads proud.' And I like smiled for a brief moment then I left," said Cody.
