Cody Rhodes reacted to Roman Reigns indirectly assisting him at SummerSlam. The American Nightmare was in the press conference where he did not want to talk about the claims on the title of the 'Tribal Chief' between Roman and Solo Sikoa. However, he felt that if not for Roman returning and assisting him in an indirect way, things would have been different.

"I don't want to fill the room with positive platitudes and hot air about the real 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns returning, but without a doubt, that probably would have gone a different way," said Cody in the interview. The star wrestler added that he would probably have lost the title if not for the North Star of the industry, Roman.

"I probably wouldn't be sitting here with the North Star of the industry had it not been for Roman Reigns," added Cody in the interview. He further claimed that he owe a lot of people for the growth in his career. Cody felt that he owed Roman more than one. Cody Rhodes was aware of the fact that the Tribal Chief would come after him for the title.

'We haven't seen or spoken since WrestleMania' - Cody Rhodes on Roman Reigns

The world champion added that there's no love lost between the two and it might remain the same for a long time. Rhodes felt his relationship with Roman was unique. He confirmed the fact that the last conversation he had with Roman was during WrestleMania. "So he's certainly... I've got quite a list of people who I owe one," said Cody

"I might owe him more than one. And again, no love lost; that's as much of a shoot as it gets. There's a unique relationship, I suppose. We haven't seen or spoken since WrestleMania," added Cody. There could be a continuation of the feud between the two later this year or early in 2025 when Roman decides to go for his title.
