WATCH: 'Original Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns returns with new theme and assists Cody Rhodes to beat Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam

Roman Reigns returned to WWE for the first time since his appearance at WrestleMania XL. Roman returned as the 'Original Tribal Chief' and addressed the aggression of the new Bloodline under Solo Sikoa. He delivered a Superman punch, speared Solo, and helped Cody Rhodes to retain his world title at SummerSlam.

In the main event match, the Bloodline rules came into the picture. When Cody Rhodes delivered his first Cross Rhodes, the Tonga brothers came to the assistance of Solo. To even the odds, Kevin Owens entered the arena and took out the Tonga brothers. As Solo and Tonga brothers recovered, Bloodline gained the upper hand again.

That was when Randy Orton returned and took out the Tonga brothers. KO and Viper chased Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga respectively. Jacob Fatu came to Solo's assistance and nearly took out Cody. While he damaged his leg in the process,  Solo couldn't get a pinfall. That was when Roman entered the arena with a loud pop from the fans.

Roman Reigns doesn't attack Cody Rhodes

Roman Reigns returned as the 'Original Tribal Chief' with a new entrance theme. As the fans went crazy and wondered what would happen, the original Head of the Table delivered a Superman punch and speared Solo. He looked at Cody and silently moved away from the arena. Cody Rhodes took advantage of the situation and delivered a Cross Rhodes.

The American Nightmare kept on seeing if Roman would attack him. He was a bit surprised even after pinning Solo to claim a win. Reigns watched the entire show unfold and clearly signaled his motive. Solo was his target and not Rhodes. After losing the match, Sikoa cried like a child and cursed himself for losing a shot at the world title.
