'I'd be foolish..' - Cody Rhodes' first reaction about Kevin Owens' attack on him

Cody Rhodes reacted for the first time since being attacked by Kevin Owens. The American Nightmare said it was the consequence of being a world champion. He felt the road to WrestleMania began a bit early this time around. Cody strictly spoke about his match and did not give a damn about what Kevin Owens did to him.

Cody Rhodes claimed that he would be foolish to say anything different other than being attacked by KO. He said the video has been circulating on social media at a fast pace. He said the consequences of being the world champion led to him being attacked. 

"It's a very passionate industry, everybody wants the north star of our business which is the WWE championship and the championship that I hold at this time. I don't know if you'll see this unfold on screens, on Smackdown, on Raw or when we come overseas," said Rhodes.

The star wrestler claimed that Pro Wrestling tends to dive into the stuff like holding the title. He tried to stick to his tag team match with Roman Reigns against Solo and Jacob Fatu. He claimed to be happy for the city of Atlanta in which he raised. After the main event match at Bad Blood, KO attacked Cody outside the stadium.

"Pro Wrestling and sports entertainment tends to like dive into that. Perhaps it does, or perhaps it's dealt internally. I overall, I did feel very happy about my match at Bad Blood. I was happy for the city of Atlanta, that being the city that raised me," added Cody.

The star wrestler said that despite what happened to him after the show, he was happy for the fans who showed up to see him in Atlanta. He concluded saying that the road to WrestleMania began a bit too early. "Everything happened and appeared and I was happy for Atlanta and the WWE because it feels like the road to Wrestlemania started early this year," Cody concluded.
