Roman Reigns is scheduled to return to WWE Smackdown for the first time in three weeks. Likewise, there is a steel cage match between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the main event of the night. There is a chance of the OTC interfering in the match to cost Solo the match. Some signs indicate the potential move.

Roman was taken out by Jacob Fatu and Co. a couple of weeks back on Smackdown. The purpose of his return is to reclaim the throne of the Head of the Table. The big challenge is to dethrone Solo Sikoa who has ascended the throne of the Tribal Chief himself.

Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam and cost Solo the match against Cody. There has been an attempt from the OTC to grab the Ula Fala since then. When he got close to it a few weeks back, Jacob destroyed his moment and took him out. Solo got the Ula Fala and the control back.

Since then, Roman has not been in action. Last week on the blue brand, Nick Aldis announced the match between Solo and Cody for the world title in a steel cage match. It was an attempt from the Smackdown GM to prevent the rest of the members of the Bloodline from interfering in the match.

One could wonder how Roman might interfere in the match. Given the boss has been in the blue brand over the years, he would be aware of the system and the ways to break it. He might just feel the need to do things like it to take down the aggressive new Bloodline.

It would further increase the animosity between team Roman and Solo. It could pave the way for them to be involved in the Civil War story. At Bad Blood, Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman's return could take place to ensure the reunion of the Bloodline. That way, Cody could head to a different story.
