Charles Leclerc took a tour of Circuit Zandvoort's track along with Harrie Lavreysen. The official handle of Formula 1 took to social media and posted the video where the duo rode cycles with each other. As the Paris Olympics 2024's Gold medalist challenged for a race, Charles denied it and continued at the pace in which he was driving. The video has gone viral on X.

"That's one race we wouldn't back Charles Leclerc in... 🤣 Watch the moment Charles joined THREE-TIME Paris 2024 gold medal cyclist Harrie Lavreysen for a tour of Circuit Zandvoort," wrote the official handle of Formula 1 on X. The suggestion of the post was to not accept the challenge of Harrie in a cycling race. It took place around the track of Formula 1.

The fans felt Leclerc should've been offered a car as they felt it would have been a fair battle. A few days after the Dutch Grand Prix 2024 concluded, the fun race took place. At the Circuit Zandvoort, the duo went for a ride and had a bit of interaction. The duo spent some time together and were happy to have met each other in a unique way.

Dutch Grand Prix 2024 results

On the 25th of August 2024, the Dutch Grand Prix took place. Charles had a great performance in the race as he finished sixth with an impressive timing of 1 hour 10 minutes and 58 seconds. The Ferrari driver had one of the best finishes of the year and improved a lot compared to his previous performances. Lando Norris won the race with a brilliant timing of 1 hour and 9.673 minutes.

Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished second with a timing of 1 hour and 10.029 minutes. He was followed by McLaren's Oscar Piastri who finished with a time of 1 hour and 10.172 minutes. McLaren dominated the race without a doubt as they had two of the top 3 drivers on the podium. George Russell and Sergio Perez finished fourth and fifth respectively.
