CM Punk joins the Womens Title angle on WWE NXT

With CM Punk scheduled to be in Chicago for the October 1 debut of WWE's NXT brand, the company is getting ready for a significant upheaval. But Punk also made an appearance on the USA Network's NXT program airing on September 17, when he disclosed his future intentions. 

Following his viewing of Giulia's in-ring debut on the October 10 program, CM Punk presented WWE NXT General Manager Ava with a proposal. After the proposal was approved, Punk was scheduled to perform at the NXT Arena this coming week. 

After the first hour, Punk was seen arriving at the building and making the statement that, following the commercial break, he would enter the stage with a live microphone. In anticipation, the audience was shouting his name before he ever made his appearance. CM Punk arrived at the NXT Arena eager to have some fun, and he was in a much lighter mood than when he appeared on WWE RAW on September 16. He talked about how great it felt to enter the NXT Arena for the first time.

CM Punk said that he attempted to slink about and watch the program from the production area while recovering from his injuries. During that moment, he was noticed by several supporters who were screaming "We Saw You." He chuckled about it on the microphone.

In the ring, Punk gave Ethan Page acclaim and commented on Lexis King's beard. He also suggested that he will probably face Bron Breakker head-to-head shortly. Punk also joked that he had t-shirts older than Je'Von Evans, giving Evans a shout-out.

CM Punk begged to Shawn Michaels to get involve at WWE NXT

Punk said that he had "begged" Shawn Michaels to participate in the October 1 WWE NXT show in Chicago. Roxanne Perez, the NXT Women's Champion, then cut him off. She said she was sorry for disturbing her and gave Giulia a lighthearted jab before admitting that Punk is her all-time favorite wrestler. However, she added, "I always did prefer your wife," which caused the audience to yell "AJ."

It remains to be seen how events unfold in Chicago, but CM Punk will undoubtedly be engaged.
