CM Punk is expected to have a big part in the launch of WWE's NXT brand, which is getting ready to make a big move to The CW on October 1. Punk revealed his plans for the September 17 edition of NXT on the USA Network and said he would be in Chicago for the big debut. WWE's NXT brand is preparing for a significant change as their Chicago program on October 1 will be their The CW premiere. We now know how this week's episode will begin, which is going to be a crucial one.

Following his observation of Giulia's in-ring debut on the October 10th NXT broadcast, CM Punk presented WWE NXT General Manager Ava with a proposal that was swiftly approved. He was therefore scheduled to appear on this week's program at the NXT Arena.

CM Punk set to make his debut

CM Punk is set to serve as a special guest referee for NXT's Chicago CW debut, as reported by Ibou of WrestlePurists. This information was verified by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select. That revelation is anticipated to be made by Punk during tonight's performance.

As with his prior appearances, Punk came to the Performance Center early in the day and was observed mingling with NXT talent who contacted him before the event. He will be on this week's episode, fans may expect.

It's still unknown if the previously tested "ref cam" idea will make a comeback for this game or has been scrapped. CM Punk is expected to attend ringside for a section during tonight's performance, but it's unclear if he'll take part in any backstage activities.

While NXT gets ready to move to The CW, the network is putting together intriguing programming for the upcoming weeks. Being a fan of professional wrestling is thrilling right now, and it doesn't seem like the momentum will be slowing down anytime soon.
