WWE is a company based in the USA's Stamford. Over the years, most of its stars have belonged to the USA, the native country where Wrestling is predominant. Likewise, there are wrestlers from countries like Canada and the United Kingdom, who have consistently produced top stars for the company. However, there has not been a representation from the Asian subcontinent in the company historically.
While Japan has some of the most popular Wrestling companies in the world and has some of the greatest wrestlers, they have usually not made big in WWE historically. Some of the top wrestlers are from Japan. However, Asians have not made a big name in the company.
Indian wrestlers, in particular, are not highly popular in WWE. There have been only a few stars who took the company by storm with their popularity. Some of them became popular outside of WWE for different reasons. Fans remember them due to their popularity and representing the South Asian region in the company.

Kavita was introduced as a heel in the yellow brand in 2018. She could not connect with the audience for a long part and had to be released by WWE in 2021. However, she was recently in the news after joining AAP to contest in the Haryana Elections against Vinesh Phogat, an Indian Olympian.
2. Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal is one of the only two Indian wrestlers to have been a world champion. He was a part of the faction 3MB in the PG Era before it imploded in 2014. It led to the push for stars like Jinder and Drew McIntyre. Jinder grew in stature and became a main event contender by 2017.
In the same year, he beat Randy Orton to become the world champion, only the second Indian to do so after The Great Khali. He defended the title against the Viper in a Punjabi prison match with the help of Khali. His title reign ended later that year. Earlier this year in 2024, Jinder was released by WWE, which led to him moving to GCW.
