This is the tournament we all will remember for a long time for its great great legends and matches.

One of the players who is one of the clear favourites to win the tournament is Carlos Alcaraz. the Spaniard is one of the best players in the world and is ranked number 3 overall. Alcaraz is also the defending champion going into this tournament and will be looking forward to winning back-to-back Wimbledon's. So, here are the 5 milestones Carlos Alcaraz can achieve if he wins Wimbledon 2024:

5. Third Youngest player to win two Wimbledon titles

This will be the elite list that Alcaraz will look to enter which includes the likes of Bjorn Borg and Boris Becker. Alcaraz is currently 21-years-old which will make him the third youngest player to win 2 Wimbledon titles. This will be an achievement. This will put him among some of the biggest legends in the game and we will love to see him be amongst these great players.

4. Second Spanish to win two Wimbledon titles

There have only been two Spanish players who have gone on to win Wimbledon and they are Alcaraz and King of Clay Rafael Nadal. Nadal has won two titles on the Grass Court Grand Slam where he won in 2008 and 2010. If Alacarz wins the tournament this season as well, he will be only the second Spanish player to win more than one Wimbledon title as well. This milestone will no doubt put him on top of the game in his nation as well.

3. Sixth player to complete a Chanel Slam

The Chanel Slam is one of the rarest achievements for a tennis player as they come into Grass after playing a long and tiring Clay season. Winning the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year has only been done by five players which also includes the Big Three. This milestone will surely be a record that will prove why Alcaraz is one of the upcoming stars in the game who is destined to make it big in modern-day tennis.

2. Third player to defend Wimbledon title in the 21st century

There has rarely been a moment where the Wimbledon title has been defended by a player and with the form Alacraz is currently in, he is one of the favourites to do it. The only players to achieve this feat are Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, who have been one of the most dominant players in Wimbledon as well. Alcaraz will only be the third player in the 21st century to defend this title and create history. We hope we get to see some great performances from him going forward.

1. Third youngest player to win 4 Grand Slams

Being only 21 years old Carlos Alcaraz has already won 3 Grand Slams by winning the US Open in 2022, the Wimbledon in 2023 and the Roland Garros this season. The Spaniard is currently on a quest to win his 4th major trophy and he could beat his fellow compatriot and idol Rafael Nadal to be the third youngest player to win 4 major Grand Slams. Alcaraz will be behind the likes of Bjorn Borg and Mats Wilander who are 1st and second youngest players to achieve this feat. Winning this Grand Slam will put him among the best players in history and make sure he builds his legacy going forward.
