The WTA No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and No. 10 Paula Badosa are reunited for the Qatar Open 2025 tournament. The two tennis players are fierce rivals on the court. But off the court, they are best friends and spend most of their time together on holidays and vacations. The friendship season is over and they are again heading back to tennis. The two WTA top-ranked players are competing in the Qatar Open 2025. The tournament starts on February 9th and ends on the 15th.

It is a WTA 1000 title so if a player wins the campaign, they will receive a huge amount of $3,654,963 as prize money. We can also see players like Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Emma Raducanu. The top 8 ranked players will get a free entry into round 2 and Paula Badosa has to play the first round as she is the 10th ranked player. The two players met in the training arena and shared some light moments. Aryna hugged Paula and patted her behind. The two gave a small interview regarding their tennis campaign.

The two clashed at the Australian Open 2025 semifinals and Aryna Sabalenka easily defeated the Spaniard in straight sets. Sabalenka was too aggressive and Paula couldn't handle the sheer power and return shots of the Belarusian and was easily defeated. After defeating her best friend in one of the biggest stages, Aryna wanted forgiveness from Paula Badosa and said she would do anything to Badosa to save her friendship. She even wished to pay for things that Paula buys in shopping. 

That was taken too seriously by Badosa, as she demanded an expensive gift from Aryna Sabalenka to re-establish their friendship. Though losing the finals to Madison Keys, Sabelenka earned $48.3 million in her 2025 campaign till now. So she gifted Paula with an expensive friendship ring made of platinum and Badosa was too happy and she forgave her immediately.
