Notably, a temporary tennis court has been constructed near the mural, creating a blend of sport and art. During the promotional event of Qatar Open 2025, the two-star players hit tennis balls on the temporary tennis court. They both also struck near the mural. One image captured Sabalenka mid-serve with a whale shark installation behind her, while another one showed Swiatek mid-backhand.

The two top-seeded players reunited for a photo shoot with the Qatar Open trophy and also took to the court for a lighthearted hitting session. Iga Swiatek aims to win his fourth title here in Doha. The 23-year-old Polish star has had an electrifying round in Doha, having not even dropped a set in a tournament since 2022.

Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka, who went down fighting to Madison Keys in the 2025 Australian Open final, revealed that she has already moved on from this defeat. The 26-year-old star player returns to competitive action for the first time since the first Grand Slam of the year at the Doha Open.

“This one was the toughest one. I think for a week I was still thinking about that match. Honestly, looking back and thinking about those two lost games (in the final set), I didn’t do anything wrong, she just played out of her mind, and it was her day, there’s nothing to regret. I think right now I’m fully recovered after that tough match. I’ll try to build my tennis, and probably take my tennis to the next level in these two events," Aryna Sabalenka said.
