The tennis sensation has now climbed to world rank two, surpassing Alexander Zverev, after winning the ATP 1000 Masters title.

The star player didn't get a fine start, with the Italian star dominating the first set with his stellar display of the game. However, the four-time Grand Slam winner stages his comeback with blistering forehand slices and ridiculous shots in the second set to level up the game. After that, the 21-year-old tennis star continued his great form in the third and deciding set to win his first-ever 1000 ATP title of this year.

Carlos Alcaraz burst into an emotional celebration after the win. The star player went to share a warm embrace with Lorenzo Musetti and exchanged a few words with him while consoling him. The Italian star was heartbroken and seemed to be in tears; he failed to recover from Alcaraz's resilience in the game. The star player then folded his hands and thanked the crowd who had supported him immensely in Monaco.

This winning celebration showcases his hunger to win the title on the first clay court surface of the year. The Monte Carlo crowd stood from their place and erupted in wild cheers for him.

Carlos Alcaraz reflected on his title win!

"I'm just really happy to have won Monte Carlo for the first time. It's been a really difficult week with a lot of difficult situations. I'm really proud of myself for how I've dealt with everything. It's been a really difficult month for me on the court and outside. Coming here and seeing how the whole hard work has paid off, I'm really happy," said Alcaraz, who lost in his first match on his only previous appearance at the tournament in 2022.
