Matteo Berrettini reflected on his biggest career win!
Meanwhile, Matteo Berrettini has opened up about his historic win. The Italian star revealed that he capitalized on his strokes to win the game. The 28-year-old ATP star accepted that Zverev's stunning and crazy shots had baffled him completely in the game. The star player opened up about how he tried to remain aggressive to win this game despite the German-born star's stellar display on the court.
"The game plan was the same but I changed my attitude and the way I was believing in my strokes. I wasn't hitting my forehand and serve like I had in previous days and I had to adapt and adjust to the conditions and Sascha was playing unbelievable, so it was not easy. Then I told myself to be more aggressive and if I am going to lose this match, I am going to do the right things and luckily it worked," said Berrettini after the win.
