Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz seems to have taken a much-needed break from his sport after pulling out from the Mutua Madrid Open 2025 due to leg injuries he sustained in the Barcelona final against Holger Rune. The four-time Grand Slam winner immerses himself in football's great rivalry, El Clásico.
The recently concluded Copa del Rey 2025 final showdown between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona has made big headlines and brought waves of emotions in Spain, and the tennis star Carlos Alcaraz was among the prominent stars spotted watching the game. The 21-year-old tennis star was seen heading to watch the match, where he was seen clicking selfies and giving autographs to his loving fans.
Meanwhile, the star player has never hidden his admiration for Real Madrid, and this is the club he grew up watching and supporting. Just a few days back, the tennis sensation was seen talking about supporting Madrid while he also acknowledged the game brilliance of FC Barcelona.
"I am loyal to Real Madrid. I love watching Madrid, but obviously I understand a little about football, and Barça are performing at a great level and can win whatever they want. However, I will continue supporting Madrid and I trust they are capable of winning La Liga and Copa del Rey," Carlos Alcaraz said earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz eyes Roland Garros's victory after pulling out from the Mutua Madrid Open 2025 due to injury. The 21-year-old tennis player was last seen in action in the Barcelona Open 2025 final but lost against Holger Rune and failed to win here. The star player has recently won the ATP Monte Carlo Masters 1000 clay tournament and will be looking to make his appearance in the Italian Open 2025.
