The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) is a debate that never ends in every sport as it is not easy to determine who the winner is. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are three names that often come up in the discussion of tennis ‘GOAT’. Carlos Alcaraz, the young tennis sensation, recently confronted this question and revealed his pick.

The Wimbledon 2024 champion recently interviewed with YouTuber Sharky as part of ATP's 'Down the T'. The Spaniard was asked a few rapid-fire questions, including who he thinks is the nicest and the funniest player on tour, to which he answered Frances Tiafoe. His friendship with Tiafoe was on display as the American was named multiple answers, including the ‘best wingman on a night out’.

Alcaraz picked Djokovic as the toughest competitor and the best hitter in return. According to him, Holger Rune is the ‘biggest trash talker’ on tour and Alex De Minaur is currently the most underrated player. However, Sharky’s final question was the most-awaited by tennis fans – who is the tennis GOAT?

It was a tricky question for him, but the 21-year-old did not disappoint the fans of the ‘Big Three’. He said that according to the numbers, it should be Djokovic, but for him, Federer and Nadal are also at the top of the list.

"As far as numbers go, it's Novak Djokovic without a doubt. The other two Federer and Rafa. For me, they're tops." Carlos Alcaraz said.
