The Swedish Open was down to the last four players in the tournament and the most awaited semi-final was to be played between Rafael Nadal and Duje Ajdukovic who was one of the most surprising players who made it to the semis by beating some high-seeded players in the tournament. This was the match which we all wanted to witness on the day.
Rafael Nadal might not be in the form of his life but still went on to play some great tennis in this tournament, we all were happy seeing the Spaniard play his ruthless forehands during the matches. This was another great matchup for Nadal where he was once again playing against a young and upcoming player, who has impressed everyone. This was the game which was important for every tennis fan who wanted to see the legendary player feature in the final of an ATP tournament.
Nadal makes it to the finals in Bastad
This once again was a tough start for Nadal as he lost the first set against Ajdukovic in this semi-final and was once again under the pump losing the set by a score of 6-4. However, he straight away came back into the game with a 6-3 victory against the Croatian in the second set. This was where the match was even and the last and third set was once again the one to decide the winner of this game. Once again it was a slightly tough fight given by Ajdukovic, but in the end, he was no match to the experience and dominance of Nadal on clay which he once again showed in the last and final set. This was another great match where we saw El Nino fight back once again.

Nadal was once again victorious in this game and he showed that he still knows how to fight back in the game even when he is down. The Spaniard was once again on fire even under pressure where even when he had a sniff on the game he still came back into the match brilliantly. In the end, we all want him to finally win a tournament after struggling for a long time.
