Aryna Sabalenka at Nike World Campus
Aryna Sabalenka is seizing her time off from tennis with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis. The Belarusian star received an enthusiastic welcome at the Nike World Campus in Oregon. Having been part of the Nike family since 2017, Sabalenka has now taken on the role of brand ambassador for the global powerhouse.
Aryna Sabalenka's Reel garners attention
A huge banner welcomed the reigning World No. 1, featuring the words ‘Welcome Aryna’ in bold black and white. Sabalenka and her boyfriend walked through the Nike headquarters, and she shared this pleasing moment with her fans on Instagram.
The video shows the headquarters' walls adorned with visuals of the Belarusian athlete in Nike apparel. As the reigning US Open champion, she has collaborated with Nike on several occasions, recently appearing in the launch of the Swoosh Bra. Additionally, she kicked off her Australian Open 2025 journey in a new green Nike kit, complemented by a unique pair of shoes featuring an embroidered tiger design.
Aryna Sabalenka's below par start to the season
The three-time Grand Slam champion hasn't got the best start in 2025. She kicked off strong, securing a title at the Brisbane International. However, despite her dominant victories leading up to the final in Melbourne, she faced an unexpected defeat against Madison Keys, ending her reign as the two-time defending champion.
Following this disappointing loss, the 26-year-old returned to the court at the 2025 Qatar Open but suffered an early exit in the first round against Ekaterina Alexandrova. Her dip in form continued as she was defeated in the second round of the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championships by eventual finalist Clara Tauson.
The World Number One has not performed well during the Middle East Swing. Her visit to the Nike headquarters provides a break before continuing into a lengthy season.
