Navarro and Pegula's wealth is no Secret

The wealth of Navarro and Pegula families is there for the world to see. Pegula previously told Agence France Presse that she gets annoyed whenever her tennis success gets shadowed by assumptions based on her father's business success.

During a recent media appearance, she mentioned feeling frustrated by a common misconception about her lifestyle. She clarified that she doesn't have a butler, chauffeur, or private jet, and finds it amusing that some people assume otherwise. Her comments shed light on the importance of not making assumptions about others' lives.

Terry Pegula, Jessica's father, achieved success in the oil and gas industry as the founder of East Resources. In 2010, he made a significant business move by selling the majority of the company's assets to Royal Dutch Shell for $4.7 billion, as reported by Forbes. Currently, he oversees a sports empire, which includes ownership of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.

Forbes estimates Terry Pegula's wealth to be $7.7 billion.

Additionally, it's worth noting that Navarro comes from a financially secure background, independent of her earnings on the professional tennis circuit. Her father, Ben Navarro, is the founder and CEO of Sherman Financial Group, with an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion, according to Forbes.

Navarro is also the owner of the Charleston Open, a WTA Tour event.
