Aryna Sabalenka roars into second consecutive US Open final after staright win over Navarro

Sabalenka makes it to back-to-back US Open finals after beating Emma Navarro in the semi finals. The Belarusian has a chance to finish the story in New York once again.

The last Grand Slam of the year has been full of surprises and this has no doubt been one of the most iconic tournaments which has now come down to the semi finals where we are finally going to see who are going to be the final two player to compete for the US Open title. The two matches will be one of the most hyped to see which player will go on to get their hands on the trophy and finally achieve Grand Slam glory.

The first semi final which all of us have been looking forward to was between Aryna Sabalenka and Emma Navarro. Both these players are chasing after their first US Open title and have something to prove in this Grand Slam event. We all know that Sabalenka being the World number 2 will be the favourite to win this game and go onto play another Grand Slam final, but what this tournament has taught us is that the game of tennis could be one of the most unpredictable games in the World.

Sabalenka reaches second consecutive final in New York

Though we were impressed with the way Emma Navarro had performed in this tournament, it was clear that she was up against one of the best in the season in the first set itself with Sabalenka taking the first set by a score of 6-3. The second set saw Navarro taking the fight to the World number 2 taking it to a tiebreaker, but unfortunately in the end she was no match for the Belarusian who has now made it to her second consecutive US Open final game.

This might have not been the easiest game for Sabalenka, but she will be happy that she has finally made it to back-to-back US Open finals and will now be eyeing her first ever title in the city of dreams. She is now just one win away from Grand Slam glory and will be looking forward to the final match where she will have a chance to lift her maiden US Open title and finally finish last years story.
