Sabalenka on finishing as the World number 1

This might have not been the season which Sabalenka has been the most dominant player this season as she has missed out on some games due to some injury but with Iga Swiatek's withdrawal from two tournaments the Bealrusian was asked on her possibility of finishing as the World number 1 to which she had answered saying " Ending the year as the world number one is one of my goals, but I try not to focus on that but on my tennis. There are only three tournaments left, and I want to bring out my best game on the court. After the season, I'll see if that's enough to finish the year as the world number one or what I need to improve to achieve it."

These are some big achievements which Sabalenka is chasing and without a doubt it does look like a big mountain to climb with Swiatek way ahead in the rankings, but things can always change and there is still a slight chance of her achieving this feat.
