Tennis superstar Iga Swiatek continues her reign at the epitome of the level as she embarks on her 100th week at the top of the rankings and becomes the fifth youngest player to do the same at the age of 22. Notably, the young player continues her dominance at the top level, despite losing the semi-final game during the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix last week.

The star player was defeated by defending Champion Elena Rybakina during the Stuggart Open 2024 in the semi-final game. Notably, Elena gets the magnificent win by 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. However, despite that, she reached the peak of the level with a whopping 10,560 points.

Meanwhile, her spot does not look in danger, considering the ongoing clay fixtures. Meanwhile, Aryana Sabalenka comfortably sits in the second spot with 7848 points. After being dropped from the rankings, she was beaten by Marketa in the quarterfinals of the Stuggart Open 2024.

In addition, Coco Gauff remains in the third spot with 7256 points, and she has the full momentum to take up the second spot. Elena Rybakina sits comfortably in the fourth spot despite her win in the Stuggart Open Final 2024, as she has 6293 points to her name.

“They said it may be possible that I’m going to be World No.1. It would be for me something special. I never expected that if it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen that way. I was crying for a long time. I  mean, there was a lot of confusion in me, for sure. It means you don’t look back and settle for some high moments but are determined and committed to being in the present and work even harder. It means you are not a flash in the pan, but consistent, focused, and hungry to maintain a high standard for a long period of time," Iga  Swiatek told reporters a little over two years ago.
